I am a prospective grad student looking to teach and create art, photography, & music for all of my life.
Although I am a native Canadian, I have lived in the New York Tri-State Area for most of my life. I am so lucky to have the greatest city in the world by my side. I also have a very soft spot for San Francisco, Honolulu, and Pittsburgh.
I studied and earned a B.A. in Art Practice ’11 at University of California – Berkeley. During my time there, I encompassed my liberal art studies in anthropology, philosophy, psychology, art history, foreign languages, and sciences into my artmaking.
My other interests and passions include playing piano/guitar/ukulele, filming everything beautiful, reading, writing, watching films, writing postcards, scouting for new music, funding other people's projects, shooting archery, surfing, biking, tennis, and the occasional gaming.
However, my greatest inspirations come from traveling, meeting people, having great conversations, and seeing the world, even on my doorsteps.
I cannot imagine life without creation. Thank you for sharing your time with me.
